ICICI Lombard has launched VIBE, a health insurance proposition designed around the healthcare and wellness needs of younger consumers. It combines hospitalisation cover with everyday healthcare, mental wellbeing, fitness benefits, rewards and digital services
Built on the insurer’s IL Take Care ecosystem, VIBE is aimed at consumers who increasingly view health as an ongoing priority rather than something to address only when hospitalisation is required. It combines inpatient hospitalisation cover with features, such as outpatient consultations, diagnostics, pharmacy, dental and vision care, mental health counselling and lifestyle-linked benefits
ICICI Lombard said its research found that 70.50 per cent of respondents ranked health and wellness as their top protection priority, while 54.50 per cent selected health for deeper exploration. The research also found that 40.40 per cent of respondents said focused outpatient department (OPD) cover would increase their purchase intent
The insurer said VIBE has been designed in response to these changing expectations, with a focus on preventive care, everyday healthcare and digital engagement. The product is available through multiple plan options, with sum insured choices ranging from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 1 crore. The plans include Rookie, BasicFit, Upgrade, Flex, GOAT and Value
The core hospitalisation cover includes inpatient treatment, daycare procedures, technological advancements and treatment, AYUSH hospitalisation and domestic road ambulance. Depending on the plan, customers can also get benefits such as an unlimited ReVibe benefit, teleconsultations and a Green Flag bonus that can increase the sum insured over the policy period
A key feature of VIBE is Aura Points, under which customers can earn 500-750 points every claim-free month depending on the plan. These points can be used towards eligible doctor consultations, diagnostics, dental care, pharmacy and vision care, subject to the applicable terms and conditions. The brochure also specifies a maximum accumulation of 12,000 points at any point in time
The product also provides mental health support through its Mind and Mood Recover feature. Customers can receive 3-10 mental health counselling sessions a year, depending on the plan, with sessions available through video or in-person consultations. The brochure also lists unlimited teleconsultations across the plans
VIBE also links insurance with fitness through its GetFit feature. Depending on network availability, customers can access fitness activities including gym, aerobics, Pilates, calisthenics and yoga. The product also provides health screening benefits through an optional health check-up cover

The product also allows customers to earn referral credits when their referrals result in a successful policy purchase. The proposition is integrated with the IL TakeCare app, through which customers can access various health and wellness services
For customers seeking additional protection, VIBE offers optional covers including Smart Returns, Claim Protector 2-Hour QuickFix, health check-ups, tenure-related benefits, maternity benefits, newborn baby cover, vaccination, adventure sports-related protection and personal accident cover, depending on the plan and applicable terms
