NAIROBI, Kenya, Jul 15 – Mental well-being, anxiety management and finding hope during difficult times will take centre stage during Jehovah’s Witnesses’ 2026 “Eternal Happiness” Regional Convention Series scheduled to take place in Nairobi from July 17 to August 20
The convention, which organisers expect will attract more than 60,000 attendees from across the country, comes amid growing concerns over stress, anxiety and mental health challenges in Kenya and globally
“Many people today are dealing with anxiety, family pressures, economic uncertainty, and concerns about the future,” said Victor Karoki, spokesman for Jehovah’s Witnesses in Kenya
“The convention will highlight practical Bible principles that can help people build resilience, strengthen family relationships, and maintain a positive outlook despite life’s challenges.”
Hosted at the Jamhuri Park Expo Hall, the event will bring together families, worshippers and members of the public for a series of Bible-based talks, interviews and presentations aimed at offering practical guidance on coping with anxiety, maintaining emotional well-being and building resilience during difficult times
Organisers say the programme will explore how faith and spirituality can help individuals navigate uncertainty, financial pressures, family challenges and the demands of modern life
The convention will also focus on strengthening family relationships, supporting emotional well-being and creating environments that foster happiness and stability
According to Jehovah’s Witnesses, this year’s theme, “Eternal Happiness,” is designed to provide practical lessons and encouragement for people of all ages facing increasingly stressful social and economic conditions
The event is free and open to the public, with organisers inviting members of the media to cover discussions on mental wellness and the role of faith communities in supporting emotional health and resilience
The convention series will run from July 17 to August 20 at the Jamhuri Park Expo Hall in Nairobi
