How do you show up online as a mum? I have no idea.None. Please send KFC – and help.
Sincebecoming a mum, I havefelt so confusedabout what to post and how to post. If I post her too much, Ifeel likeI’m using her. If I don’t post her at all, it’s like she doesn’t exist. I never knowwhichpics to post – do I post everything? What’scontentand what’s just for us? What’s enough? What’s too much? What’s triggering for people? Should I be posting her at all? Can I post my normal content – what I posted before I became a mum?
I don’t know. I am lost. Genuinely lost
After being a creator (amongstmany thingsI do for a dollar) for 13 years, suddenly there is so much more to consider. When Margot Robbie returned to work after the birth of her son, I remember a newspaper op-ed titled,Margot Robbie, stop pretending you’re not a mum. The gist was that the actor was concealing her experience of motherhood by not talking about it during her many press tours post-partum – a choice that made a lot of people feel confused, myself included. Iwantedto hear about her experience, to know how she was finding it and juggling it all.
Having my own baby, though, made me see it differently
