The Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation has launched the Baldwin County Youth Caregiver & Community Needs Assessment, a countywide survey designed to better understand the mental wellness education needs and priorities of families and community members
Foundation leaders said information gathered through the assessment will help shape future educational programs, workshops and community events offered throughout Baldwin County. The organization said it is seeking community input before developing new educational initiatives to ensure programs address current local needs
The survey asks participants to identify topics of greatest interest, including anxiety, bullying, social media safety and substance use awareness. It also seeks feedback on preferred learning formats and potential barriers that may prevent participation in educational programs
The foundation is encouraging all adults who support or interact with youth to take part in the assessment. Participants may include parents, grandparents, caregivers, educators, faith-based leaders, coaches, first responders and health care providers
Organizers said the assessment is intended to capture a broad range of perspectives from across Baldwin County, including North Baldwin, Central Baldwin, South Baldwin, the Gulf Coast and the Eastern Shore
To encourage candid participation, all survey responses will remain anonymous and confidential, according to the foundation
The Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation said the assessment will play a key role in helping build a healthier and more informed community by identifying the educational needs and priorities of residents
