Women’s health tech company, Now Often Always (NOA), expands into workplace education as large UK employers prepare for new equality action plan requirements

Women’s health tech company Now Often Always (NOA), which uses blood testing and symptom analysis to help women better understand their bodies and hormonal health, has launched a corporate wellbeing programme for UK employers, offering 60-minute talks on hormones and menopause for employees. Delivered online or in person by NOA’s qualified nutritionists, the sessions build on the company’spersonalised women’s health plansand provide practical, evidence-based information about hormonal health throughout women’s working lives.

Katie Rose, Founder and CEO of Now Often Always (NOA), said:“Most women have never been taught how their hormones work, so when they feel exhausted, foggy or not quite themselves at work, they assume it’s just them. These talks give people real information, at every stage of life. Policies matter, but a policy on its own doesn’t help anyone feel better on a Tuesday morning.”

The workplace programme extends NOA’s wider approach to women’s health, which combines personal insights with nutritionist-led support. NOA says its workplace sessions are designed to give women a clearer understanding of their health and support more informed conversations

Workplace Menopause Support Moves Higher Up the Agenda

UK employers with 250 or more employees have been able to voluntarily publish equality action plans alongside their gender pay gap data since April 2026. Government guidance says the plans should address both the gender pay gap and support for employees experiencing menopause, with action plans due to become mandatory from spring 2027, subject to secondary legislation

The change comes against a wider workplace health backdrop. Office for National Statistics data shows that women lost 2.5% of working hours to sickness absence in 2024, compared with 1.6% for men. Women also recorded higher sickness absence rates than men across every age group that year

Research from the Fawcett Society has separately found that one in ten women who worked during menopause left a job because of their symptoms. Eight in ten said their employer had not shared information, trained staff or introduced a menopause absence policy

NOA’s programme is aimed at HR directors, people and culture teams, wellbeing leads and senior leaders, particularly within larger organisations preparing for the changing workplace requirements

    Hormonal Health Beyond Menopause

NOA says its talks are designed to address hormonal health throughout a woman’s working life rather than treating menopause as an isolated workplace issue. Sessions cover how hormonal changes can relate to areas including energy, sleep, mood and concentration, alongside practical nutrition and lifestyle information

The company has already begun delivering sessions for businesses, including a global virtual menopause session

Event Organiser, Gerald Edelman said:“We would like to thank Katie and Hannah for delivering such an excellent session to our Women Who Lead network. It was incredibly valuable to have the opportunity to discuss women’s health so openly and honestly, particularly given the significant impact it has on women in the workplace. They created a comfortable environment for meaningful discussion, helping our attendees feel informed, supported and more empowered to understand and advocate for their own health. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.”

The sessions do not diagnose or treat perimenopause, menopause or other medical conditions. NOA positions them as educational sessions intended to help employees understand hormonal health, consider nutrition and lifestyle factors and recognise when they may want to discuss concerns with a GP or other healthcare professional
