Alloop will launch as part of a crowdfunding campaign in November. Alloop

This wearables industry has become increasingly saturated with smart rings and wrist-based fitness trackers, so any company that wants to compete in the space has to get creative. Enter Alloop, a modular, AI-native health wearable announced on Wednesday.

According to a press release, Alloop can be worn in three ways. The company calls this the Trio.

As part of the Trio, there are four pieces of hardware. There’s a wristband, a ring, the Cube — a compact sensor system that collects your health data — and Halo, which offers tap-to-speak, light, color patterns and haptic feedback to communicate reminders, device information, your wellness status and more

You can wear the wristband with both the Cube and Halo for extra feedback and to log with your voice; the wristband with just the Cube for a lighter, more discreet wrist-based design; or snap the Cube into the ring for the most compact version of the wearable, ideal for sleep

The Cube’s sensors measure resting heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, breathing rate and temperature. You can also log your meals and supplements using photos, voice or text. Collectively, this allows Alloop to provide a sleep score and information about nutrition, activity, strain, recovery and health trends.

Compatible with iOS and Android, the Alloop app’s health dashboard brings key data into a unified view

There’s also Bio Age, which uses 18 measurements across six health categories, including nutrition, bodily signals and lifestyle, to determine your biological age and show the factors contributing to it. As opposed to one’s chronological age, biological age estimates how you’re supposedly aging at the cellular level.

Even after removing the Halo hardware, you’re still left with the Cube to track your health metrics.Alloop

The Alloop Trio was built around a personal AI health agent. You can log your meals, symptoms, feelings and more using text, voice and images, while Alloop AI connects that information to the health data collected by the Cube’s sensors and then uses it to offer guidance, proactive insights, personalized plans and more

This is similar to how AI agents created by other wearable companies work.

It uses Google Gemini and ChatGPT, an Alloop spokesperson said

Alloop described the Trio in its press release as an open health platform, as, unlike other fitness trackers, its app doesn’t require a subscription. However, there will also be an optional Pro plan with usage-based access levels, costing about $5 per month

While the free plan will serve the vast majority of people for everyday health management and light conversational AI use, the Pro plan will provide more in-depth health-related research and enhanced personal agent capabilities

“By drawing on a user’s longer-term data, health goals, daily behaviors and interaction context, Pro will support deeper insights and more personalized planning,” the Alloop spokesperson said

Supported integrations include the ability to import data from medical records, lab tests, continuous glucose monitors and third-party wearables and health apps, including Apple Health and Google Health.

The Alloop ring is lighter and easier to use during sleep.Alloop

According to the press release, Alloop “specifies health data protection across collection, transfer, storage and management, with controls that let users review, delete and export their data.” The company’s privacy policy adds that it doesn’t sell personal information and that health and wellness information isn’t used for advertising or marketing.

“Our policy is to keep US users’ data within the United States, without transferring it overseas,” said the Alloop spokesperson

The company is developing its privacy and security practices to meet the requirements of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act, with the goal of completing a SOC 2 examination and obtaining ISO/IEC 27001 certification. SOC 2 is a voluntary compliance standard for safeguarding customer data, while ISO/IEC 27001 is a global standard for information security management systems.

However, you should always exercise caution and read the fine print before sharing your health data with any company or AI agent.

There will be a community feature that allows you to share your progress and see others’ across workouts, meals, daily life and health routines and protocols. You can also create groups, take part in shared challenges and chat with each other in the Alloop app

Alloop’s privacy policy states that when you use the community features, the company collects profile information, follows, posts, images, comments, reactions, feed activity and messages, which can help it respond to reports, enforce community rules and protect you from spam, abuse and security threats. Depending on the feature and visibility settings, the information you publish may be visible to others.

The Alloop Trio will launch on Nov. 10 as a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. Subject to change, the crowdfunding price is $299

Shipping is estimated for late December 2026 to early January 2027
