The Okanagan suffered significant losses from wildfires over the summer
To help cope with the grief, Third Space Charity and Okanagan Lifestyle are hosting an evening of conversation about wildfires and mental wellness
Open Space will allow for anonymous engagement from attendees, allowing for honest, vulnerable dialogue without pressure or the expectation to speak publicly. Through an engagement platform, guests will be able to submit questions, thoughts and reflections in real time
There will be no formal presentation at the event, instead, a panel on counsellor, mental health professionals and community advocates will lead discussions
Tickets can be purchase by-donation online. All funds raised will support Third Space’s pay-what-you-can counselling services for adults 18 to 29
Join the conversation at 1265 Ellis St. on Sept. 24 starting at 5:30 p.m
