The Tech Industry is characterized by rapid technological change, demanding work environments, and evolving workforce expectations, making employee mental health and emotional wellbeing a critical organizational priority. This whitepaper examines the current landscape of emotional wellbeing practices within the Tech Industry, providing insights into how organizations are responding to emerging mental health needs.
The paper begins by outlining key mental health and emotional wellbeing concepts and discusses the organizational, occupational, and individual factors that influence employee mental health. To understand industry practices and perspectives, in-depth interviews were conducted with 20 leaders across the Tech Industry. The findings from these interviews have been organized using the Spectrum Framework, aligned with the World Health Organization (WHO) Guidelines on Mental Health at Work.
