Premium wellness technology brand BON CHARGE has announced a long-term partnership with fitness racing competition METRIX, becoming its Official Recovery Partner across upcoming events in London
METRIX is positioned as an immersive fitness competition where music powers performance. Designed for everyday athletes and elite competitors, participants compete in pairs across five stations. Rather than using judges, performance is measured by technology. The events blend high-performance fitness with production elements, including live DJs and curated social spaces. Founded in London, the event organiser is looking to expand its format both in the UK and internationally.
As recovery continues to move from elite sport into the mainstream due to the rise in competitive fitness racing formats, such as HYROX, the BON CHARGE x METRIX partnership aims to bring science-backed recovery technologies directly to the fitness community. The collaboration will feature live activations, educational content, and experiential recovery zones, building on a shared commitment to making recovery more accessible by bridging wellness technology with fitness culture.
The collaboration launched on Saturday, June 6, 2026, with a free community ‘Coffee Shop Rave’ in Shoreditch. Taking place at Unbound between 09:30–11:30 BST, the public event combined a guided group run with a red-light recovery experience
Throughout the remainder of the year, the two entities will collaborate across two more community events. The partnership will culminate at the flagship METRIX competition in London in September 2026, an event that is expected to feature over 4,000 attendees
The September event will showcase a dedicated recovery zone and a mezzanine takeover, allowing attendees to experience tools designed to support sleep, recovery, wellbeing, and athletic performance. Featured products from the wellness brand will include the Infrared PEMF Mat Max, Super Max Red Light Therapy Device, Red Light Therapy Blanket, and the Infrared PEMF Sauna Dome

The agreement marks the next step in the international expansion of BON CHARGE within the performance recovery sector. It follows the brand’s appointment as the Official Red Light & Recovery Partner of Fulham Football Club and Fulham Pier in February 2026
The BON CHARGE x METRIX collaboration is designed to engage fitness audiences through a combination of live experiences, educational social content, and community-led activations. Additionally, the wellness technology brand will serve as the official sponsor of the burpee station within the MATRIX competition, with top-performing athletes winning specialised products in recognition of their achievements.
